LY size oil filter is a pipe-circuit filter, which is installed in the pipe system to remove solid impurities suspended impurities in fluid. It can thus guarantee the pump, unloading pumps, meters and other equipment to work in a normal state, targeting at achieving stability of the process and securing safe production.

 In a thermal power plant, the fuel pumping station is usually set with the offloading dumping for vehicles and oil pumps for ignition and combustion. In some areas, to prevent freezing or condensation of fuel in storage tanks, circulation pumps have also been set dedicatedly. In order to ensure the normal operation of these devices, there should be at the inlets set with the LY-type oil filters.  Small sized filters (filter mesh diameter of 100 holes / cm2) are usually set at the inlets of oil pumps and circulating pumps, while at the inlets of offloading dumping set with larger sized oil filters (filter mesh diameter of 36 holes /cm2)
